If you're weighing a jet dust collector against the other 1.5 HP canister units on the market, the numbers put it right where you'd expect: a straightforward, no-surprises single-stage collector that does the basics well without pushing any number to the top of its class.

Performance
Jet claims 1100 CFM for this collector. Run that number through a typical shop's hose, duct, fittings, and filter, and the figure for what actually shows up at the tool drops to around 505CFM, a loss of better than half. That's not a knock against this particular unit. It's the same math every single-stage canister collector in this size class has to deal with once you stop measuring at the impeller and start measuring at the far end of a real duct run.
