A delta dust collector in this 1.5 HP canister class comes out of the current figures as a balanced, unremarkable choice: nothing about it tops the field, but nothing about it lags badly either, and the noise figure is the quietest of the group.

Performance
Delta lists 1200 CFM on the box for this collector, the same claimed figure you'll see on several other 1.5 HP canister units. Once a realistic hose and duct run, a blast gate or two, and the canister filter itself take their cut, the figure for what reaches the tool comes down to roughly515 CFM. That happens to be the best delivered-airflow figure among the 1.5 HP canister collectors covered on this site so far, which says more about a slightly more efficient impeller and housing design than it does about the motor.
At a measured 3.8 in. w.c., static pressure lands in the normal range for a single-stage canister unit, well below what either cyclone collector in this size class has to overcome. Fine dust capture comes in at a measured 98.4 percent, in line with the other canister-filter units on this site and a real step up from any stock bag setup.
